Team

François-Régis Chaumartin is the founder of Proxem. An ENSIIE engineer, he created an IT consultancy company in 1994 and directed it until 2006 (20 consultants / engineers in late 2006). He successfully drove many fast-paced projects in the Information System field for 15 years.

This enabled him to understand organizations' needs, and anticipate responses to those needs. These experiences have convinced him that technology, when mastered, offers tremendous opportunities to increase the effectiveness of an organization.

He returned to research by obtaining a Master degree in Computational Linguistics and Natural Language Processing at the Paris Diderot University (Paris 7) in 2005; he established contacts with several R&D academic teams in this area. He regularly publishes in national and international conferences.

The Proxem technical team consists of computing engineers with dual skills (either in Language Processing and Artificial Intelligence, or cloud computing and software architecture). The business development team has extensive experience in semantics solutions.
